Business Development Executive (Sales | Industrial Hardware)

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive sales of technical industrial hardware solutions across Singapore. You will work onsite at our Tuas office, engaging with clients in sectors such as oil & gas, pharmaceutical and petrochemical.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business leads.
• Promote and sell technical products and services through consultative selling, up‑selling and cross‑selling.
• Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet operational and technical needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to post‑sales support.
• Provide pre‑sales consultations and after‑sales service, handling inquiries and complaints.
• Prepare proposals, quotes and costings, and track sales activities with weekly pipeline reports.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and market changes to uncover growth opportunities.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
• At least 3 years of technical sales experience in oil & gas, pharmaceutical or petrochemical industries.
• Knowledge of industrial hardware such as valves, pipefitting, flanges and actuators is a plus.
