Business Development Manager (Offshore Market)

About the role

Citi is looking for a Business Development Manager (Offshore Market) in Singapore to grow New-to-Bank (NTB) clients across different channels. The role involves developing business strategies and initiatives, exploring new markets and using analytics to improve existing practices. The main focus is bringing in new customers from leads generated through various sources, while providing a high level of service on enquiries and account set-up.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new-to-bank Citigold customers through internal and external channels
• Assist clients with their account opening applications
• Engage potential referrers and prospects to build a pipeline of prospects
• Follow up closely with prospects to convert them into clients and ensure healthy funding
• Grow NTB clients, increase clients' digital penetration and secure qualified funding
• Deliver consistent, best-in-class customer service
• Meet compliance and controls standards set by the bank

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Degree holder with banking or sales experience preferred
• Able to travel for business on a quarterly basis or as required
