Business Development Manager - Singapore

About the role

Eurofins Scientific, an international life sciences company offering analytical testing services, is hiring a Business Development Manager for its Mechem unit in Singapore. The role focuses on growing revenue by adding services to existing accounts and opening new markets, with double-digit year-on-year sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maximise current accounts by adding services and generate new business in new markets
• Monitor and manage day-to-day activities efficiently, building value propositions and influencing key decision-makers
• Take part in developing annual sales forecasts, budgets and sales plans for the Business Unit
• Create and run local territory growth plans, build relationships with key contacts and review monthly sales trends
• Research new markets and competitors, sell the Business Unit's capabilities and promote its products
• Organise client visits, host prospect calls and facilitate the onboarding of new accounts
• Present business proposals and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses
• Maintain client files in the CRM, track leads and opportunities, and report regularly to stakeholders
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for the territory

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and implementing growth strategies and regional sales plans
• Technical and business background, ideally a BS degree or higher in the sciences; prior laboratory experience desirable
• Solution-oriented, able to break down complex issues clearly and use sales management tools such as CRM
• Strong written and verbal communication, willingness to join trade organisations and to travel for field work, conferences and trade shows
• Authorization to work in Singapore indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship
