Casual Locum Doctor – University Health Centre

About the role

We are seeking a Casual Locum Doctor to join the University Health Centre (UHC) at the Kent Ridge Campus of the National University of Singapore. The role involves delivering primary care services, health examinations and minor surgical procedures to students, staff and visitors, while promoting preventive health education.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations and assessments for a diverse university community.
• Perform routine health examinations and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Carry out minor surgical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver holistic care.
• Participate in health promotion and preventive care initiatives.

Required profile

• MBBS degree and full registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
• 5–6 years of experience in general practice, including minor surgery.
• Excellent communication skills and a pleasant, patient‑focused demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard IT applications used in clinical settings.
