Certifying Staff Inspector - Engine Component MRO

About the role

GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is looking for a Certifying Staff Inspector. The inspector performs visual and dimensional inspections against written quality plans on incoming, in-process and finished engine components, works closely with operations to ensure regulatory and quality compliance, and issues ARC to release components back to service.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure parts meet specification requirements and that work clearance, correctness and completeness are ensured.
• Prevent non-conforming parts from moving to the next workstation.
• Support Manufacturing Engineers and Quality System Engineers with evaluations, investigations and audit-related activities.
• Collect inspection data and give feedback on part quality to the engineers.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections and manage the area where parts are kept.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and housekeeping, and verify completion of all maintenance tasks.
• Issue ARC to release components back to service.

Required profile

• Passed CAAS M10, CO2, TM1 and M15.
• 2 years of relevant MRO work experience.
• Practicing certifying staff in the last 6 months.
• Knowledge of CAAS, EASA and FAA regulations.
• Experience from a C-rating MRO company is an advantage.
