Chef de Partie – Sushi Section

About the role

Join a dynamic culinary team at Marina Bay Sands as a Chef de Partie, leading the sushi section and working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items to the restaurant’s exacting standards.
• Manage a kitchen section with the support of Commis Chefs, overseeing stock rotation, waste control, and cleaning schedules.
• Supervise and develop Commis Chefs, providing training and coaching.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the full menu and ensure accurate food labeling and documentation.
• Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a full‑service kitchen, including at least 2 years in sushi preparation.
• Food hygiene and safety certification.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Professional appearance and strong teamwork orientation.
