About the role
Join a dynamic culinary team at Marina Bay Sands as a Chef de Partie, leading the sushi section and working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present menu items to the restaurant’s exacting standards.
- Manage a kitchen section with the support of Commis Chefs, overseeing stock rotation, waste control, and cleaning schedules.
- Supervise and develop Commis Chefs, providing training and coaching.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the full menu and ensure accurate food labeling and documentation.
- Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a full‑service kitchen, including at least 2 years in sushi preparation.
- Food hygiene and safety certification.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and strong teamwork orientation.
