Chemical & Process Technician – 2 Openings on Jurong Island

About the role

We are seeking two motivated Chemical and Process Technicians to join our plant on Jurong Island. The role involves operating and maintaining process equipment in a 12‑hour rotating shift environment, with transport provided to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance and routine checks on pumps, compressors and related equipment.
• Execute start‑up and shutdown procedures for process units, including isolation of piping systems.
• Carry out filter changes, inter‑tank chemical transfers, and mixing/dilution tasks.
• Adjust process parameters under supervision to optimise production.
• Commission and de‑commission equipment, and conduct emergency shutdowns.
• Handle and blend non‑conforming or off‑spec products safely.
• Prepare plant equipment for scheduled maintenance and participate in emergency response drills.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Nitec or Diploma in Chemical Process, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a process or chemical plant.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts.
