Civil Engineer – Tunnel Design and Construction

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead tunnel design and construction projects for SSV Engineering & Construction in Singapore. The role involves coordinating with the engineering team, preparing design documents, and ensuring project compliance from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with the engineering team to define project scope and scale.
• Create rough draft designs and outline engineering tasks.
• Finalize tunnel designs and manage all related engineering activities.
• Assist in drafting IDRIS Preliminary Design Reports.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Develop tender documents and support contractor qualification.
• Provide contractors with technical drawings and engineering documents.
• Conduct on‑site safety and progress inspections.
• Offer program support and resolve construction issues.

Required profile

• Senior level experience in civil engineering, preferably with tunnel projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design processes and documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors.
