Civil & Structural Engineer – 5‑Day Work Week

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Civil & Structural Engineer to lead design activities for building and infrastructure projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle from tender through construction, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage structural and civil design works from tender to construction stage.
• Review consultant drawings, technical submissions and design calculations for compliance with specifications and authority requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, consultants, subcontractors and clients on design‑related matters.
• Propose value‑engineering solutions and alternative construction methods to optimise cost, buildability and schedule.
• Support temporary and permanent works design, including ERSS, piling, precast and structural sequencing.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, technical proposals and construction details.
• Conduct design checks, resolve technical issues during construction and coordinate authority submissions.
• Attend technical, site coordination and design meetings with project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in a main‑contractor or consultancy environment.
• Experience on building, infrastructure, MRT, industrial or large‑scale development projects is advantageous.
