Class 4 Bus Driver – BDVL Operations

About the role

SEVILAI TRANSPORT is seeking an experienced Class 4 Bus Driver to lead BDVL operations in Singapore. The role combines hands‑on driving with comprehensive fleet and staff management to ensure safe, reliable transport services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily vehicle schedules, shift rosters and route allocations.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, safety inspections and repairs for the bus fleet.
• Train, mentor and evaluate drivers, handling attendance and performance issues.
• Respond to driver shortages or emergencies by stepping in to drive as needed.
• Negotiate with workshop mechanics, fuel suppliers and towing services.
• Monitor fuel consumption, implement cost‑saving driving practices and track asset inventory.
• Oversee operational budgets, insurance renewals and vendor billing.
• Establish emergency protocols, conduct safety audits and lead incident investigations.
• Utilise GPS and telematics systems to optimise routes and maintain digital service records.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in bus operations or transport management.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore traffic and transport regulations.
• Proven ability to supervise drivers and manage a fleet of vehicles.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.
