Class 4 Truck Driver (Airfreight & Tuas Routes)

About the role

A busy logistics and consolidation operation supporting air freight and industrial cargo movements across Singapore is hiring a Class 4 truck driver. You will drive 24-footer box trucks and canopy trucks, keeping time-sensitive shipments moving between Changi Airfreight Centre and the Tuas corridor. It is a hands-on driving role that rewards reliability, attention to detail and a professional approach to customer-facing delivery work.

Key responsibilities

• Drive 24-footer box trucks (with tailgate) on airfreight collection and delivery runs, and 24-footer canopy trucks (with tailgate) on Tuas-area routes
• Carry out thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, record findings accurately and report defects promptly
• Load, secure and transport cargo in full compliance with local regulations, ensuring goods are correctly restrained
• Plan and execute timely collections and deliveries, managing routes efficiently across Singapore roads
• Maintain up-to-date Inspection Records and Delivery Records for every trip
• Interact with customers and site personnel courteously and professionally
• Operate a forklift where required to assist with cargo handling and loading
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, well-maintained and adequately fuelled at the end of each shift
• Follow the Road Traffic Act, applicable legal regulations and internal company policies

Required profile

• Valid Class 4 driving licence (Class 5 advantageous)
• Valid forklift operating licence
• At least 3 years of driving experience in a similar commercial vehicle role
• Sound familiarity with Singapore roads and common freight routes
• Able to carry and handle cargo loads as part of daily duties
• Comfortable reading and completing written inspection and delivery records in English
• Minimum primary school qualification
• Punctual, dependable and committed to safe driving practices
