Client Associate, Fund Management

About the role

FIS helps businesses, banks and communities move, manage and grow money, and is looking for a Client Associate in its fund management team in Singapore. The role covers answering customer enquiries, verifying requests and supporting onboarding and KYC checks for corporate and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer enquiries by phone, email or post, understand their concerns and help resolve them, liaising with other teams as needed
• Verify customer requests so that information is correct and complete, and take action to get them completed
• Understand AML/KYC requirements for new and existing clients, detect and assess signs of fraud or suspicious activity and escalate and report them
• Support new customer onboarding and carry out ongoing KYC due diligence for corporate and retail clients to meet regulatory requirements
• Take part in business process improvement to streamline services and improve the customer experience
• Stay up to date on clients' products, market conditions and regulatory requirements and suggest improvements in the customer's interest
• Follow policies, procedures and customer service standards, and handle department mailing and ad-hoc requests from the leader

Required profile

• Minimum diploma holder
• At least 2 years of customer service experience in transfer agency, fund management or related financial areas preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed turnaround times
• Good organisational skills, ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Work visa sponsorship is not available
