Clinical Training & Education Manager – Surgery (APAC)

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD), a global medical technology company, is hiring a Clinical Training & Education Manager for its CASAJ-TWHK (APAC) business unit, focused on surgery. The role builds clinical capability across markets, supports product launches and works closely with regional marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver regional clinical training programs that upgrade sales and marketing teams' clinical knowledge, procedural understanding and disease-state expertise
• Develop structured clinical learning pathways from foundational to advanced levels, and lead onboarding, certification and continuous education programs
• Implement train-the-trainer frameworks so execution scales to each country, and equip sales teams to engage in clinical discussions and move toward independent case support
• Assess new market and growth opportunities with Regional Marketing Managers based on unmet clinical needs, and feed clinical input into portfolio expansion, product positioning, launch and market-entry strategies
• Provide targeted, time-limited case support during early-phase product launches or entry into new clinical segments, then define transition plans to shift responsibility to trained sales teams
• Work with regional marketing to design clinically robust HCP education programs, including learning objectives, curricula and educational frameworks, and adapt global assets to regional needs

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent) preferred; otherwise a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Pharmacy or a related field is required
• 7-10+ years of experience in clinical training, education, procedural support or clinical-commercial roles in medical device or pharmaceutical industries
• Strong experience working with sales and marketing teams
• Prior exposure to surgery or procedure-based portfolios highly desirable
• Experience in regional or multi-country APAC roles preferred
