Cluster Head – Southeast Asia & Mekong Project Logistics

About the role

Maersk is seeking a senior leader to head its Project Logistics cluster across Southeast Asia and the Mekong region. The role combines strategic growth, bid management, and operational execution to deliver reliable, high‑value logistics solutions for complex projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop growth (bid and solution design) and execution (operations) teams across all verticals in the region.
• Create resource plans and business cases, and drive strategic initiatives while aligning operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with commercial teams, Area Leadership, and global/regional communities to shape go‑to‑market, pricing, and sales targets.
• Monitor the sales pipeline, ensure bid quality, and support negotiations with legal assistance.
• Implement global and regional processes, analyse market trends, and share insights.
• Analyse monthly P&L, produce forecasts, and set the annual budget.

Required profile

• Over 10 years of experience in Project Logistics, including senior leadership roles.
• Proven ability to manage onsite and remote teams and facilitate cross‑functional decision‑making.
• Strong customer‑facing experience with excellent presentation skills in English and preferably a second local language.
• Deep understanding of logistics profitability drivers and supply‑chain management.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
