Head of Mobility Services and Operations

About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Head of Mobility Services and Operations to lead our fleet operations and drive modernisation initiatives. Reporting to senior leadership, you will be responsible for optimizing fleet utilisation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and championing innovative transport solutions that support our growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day fleet operations to maximise utilisation and reliability.
• Develop and execute a fleet growth strategy aligned with business demand.
• Analyse fleet data to identify improvement initiatives and enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Plan fleet size, vehicle models and manage the full lifecycle of assets.
• Implement controls to minimise downtime and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain full compliance with local transport regulations, licensing and safety standards.
• Oversee department budgeting, identify cost‑saving opportunities and manage vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance and drive high service standards across customer‑facing teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in fleet operations, mobility or transport with proven leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, maintenance and utilisation optimisation.
• Familiarity with fleet modernisation, emerging vehicle technologies and industry trends.
• Good understanding of local transport regulations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
