CMP Staff / Principal Engineer (Operation Central Team)

About the role

Micron is hiring an OCT CPEE CMP Staff / Principal Engineer for its Fab 10A site. As part of the Operation Central Team's CPEE HVM team, you will lead and collaborate with multi-functional teams, using global internal and external resources to develop BKMs and improve CMP. You act as a process and equipment expert in CMP, creating and executing solutions aligned with global business strategy and meeting Cost/Scale/Quality/Yield goals.

Key responsibilities

• Engage HVM and Technology Development teams and lead worldwide alignment efforts to improve process effectiveness.
• Promote worldwide sharing of BKMs and transfer of area-specific domain knowledge.
• Provide hands-on technical support to HVM sites to identify and deploy solutions for safety, productivity, cost of ownership, process efficiency, quality defense lines and yield improvement.
• Partner with suppliers to develop the process and equipment roadmap aligned with Micron's technology roadmap.
• Prioritize and lead multiple projects based on fab and corporate objectives, keeping collaborators informed of status, progress and roadblocks.
• Respond to issues promptly, according to their priority.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience as a CMP Process/Equipment Senior Engineer.
• Strong people and collaboration skills to lead global sites on BKM alignment.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and dependable in cross-functional teams.
• Good organization, planning and prioritization skills, and excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, professional supplier interface, and willingness to work non-standard hours and travel when required.
