Collections Intern

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital financing platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Collections Intern in Singapore. The intern supports the Collections team with data entry, monitoring, process improvement and automation, and general administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Collections operations and monitoring: add and update borrower and guarantor information in Command Center and QuestNet, monitor QuestNet daily alerts, maintain and update POD trackers and give timely updates to stakeholders.
• Support the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of collections data, trackers and operational reports.
• Process improvement and automation: identify opportunities to streamline or automate repetitive collections processes, and support testing, validation and documentation of new automation workflows, AI tools and process enhancements.
• Maintain Collections SOPs, process documentation and data quality.
• Team support: provide general administrative and operational support to the Collections team and carry out ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Good attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Willing to learn and able to work independently with guidance.
• An interest or experience in automation, data analytics, AI or productivity tools is an advantage.

Required skills

• Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and data.
