Commercial Finance Manager – Malaysia

About the role

The Commercial Finance Manager will partner closely with the business to drive financially sound decisions, embed a Business Performance Review culture, and ensure transparent and efficient management of customer discounts and A&P investments. This role supports the Country Manager in delivering accurate forecasts and full‑year estimates while maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the total company budgeting process and submit to regional/global teams.
• Drive monthly forecasting, aligning with S&OP, Cycle Planning, Business Performance Management, FYE and R&O cycles.
• Develop and maintain Business Performance Review agenda, including monthly reports, depletion and trade stock analysis, and variance analysis.
• Manage A&P and Customer Discount investment processes to meet budget and commercial plan goals.
• Implement and lead measurement & evaluation (M&E) processes to improve A&P effectiveness.
• Provide input and support for pricing, customer trade terms, and trade promotion decisions.
• Work with external partners to ensure timely and accurate statutory submissions.
• Embed and enforce business controls in line with internal and external guidelines.
