Commercial Growth Intern

About the role

Funding Societies | Modalku, the largest SME digital finance platform in Southeast Asia, is looking for a Commercial Growth Intern in Singapore. The intern supports key commercial functions across the full SME lending lifecycle, including AI & Digital Process, Marketing, Financial Product, Operations, Partnerships and Client Experience. The scope may shift depending on business needs.

Key responsibilities

• AI & Digital Process: identify repetitive manual tasks and propose automation solutions using tools such as ActivePieces, HubSpot and other low/no-code platforms; support design and maintenance of workflow automations across country functions; use AI tools to improve content production, data analysis and operational efficiency; document workflows, SOPs and change logs
• Marketing: create content for website, social media, newsletters and client outreach; run campaigns such as referral programs, product awareness and client engagement; coordinate creative production with internal teams and vendors; track KPIs via HubSpot and Google Sheets
• Financial Product: conduct market scans, competitor benchmarking and feature analysis; support digital onboarding flows, product docs and SOPs; prepare product performance dashboards and internal data summaries
• General commercial support: ad-hoc support for Operations, Partnerships and Client Experience, and coordination across teams for day-to-day tasks and cross-functional initiatives

Required profile

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Information Systems or a related field
• Strong organisational skills with sharp attention to detail
• Clear communicator who can collaborate across teams
• Proactive, adaptable and willing to take ownership

• Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic data tools
• Comfortable with AI productivity tools
