Commercial Leader – FMCG (Global MNC)

About the role

As a Commercial Leader for a global FMCG listed company, you will own the system behind sales performance, aligning strategy, execution, and capability to drive scale across all channels. You will work alongside Sales, Key Accounts and Marketing to design and embed commercial frameworks that ensure consistent performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise route‑to‑market (RTM) strategy, channel segmentation and go‑to‑market frameworks.
• Partner with Sales and Key Accounts to translate strategy into commercial playbooks, planning cycles and resource allocation.
• Design and drive field sales effectiveness frameworks, including KPIs, incentives, coverage and in‑store fundamentals.
• Build commercial capabilities, governance processes and digital tools to improve visibility and decision‑making.
• Lead data‑driven analytics, scenario planning and pricing/promotions optimisation.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG commercial functions such as category management, channel marketing, commercial strategy or sales effectiveness.
• Deep knowledge of modern trade and general trade ecosystems and retailer dynamics.
• Proven track record in RTM strategy, sales effectiveness and commercial planning at scale.
• Strong analytical capability with hands‑on experience in data visualisation tools.

Required skills

• Power BI (or equivalent data visualisation tool).
• Experience with AI‑enabled commercial insights or digital analytics platforms.
