Compliance Associate

About the role

LaSalle Investment Management, the investment division of JLL, is hiring a Compliance Associate in Singapore to provide commercial risk management, compliance, regulatory and governance support to the Asia Pacific business. The role supports the Vice President, Legal and Compliance Counsel in day-to-day compliance operations for LaSalle Asia Pacific, with a focus on LaSalle Singapore (a CMS-licensed entity) and LaSalle Australia (an AFS-licensed entity).

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the compliance calendar and register, including MAS and ASIC filings, attestations, periodic reviews, policy review cycles and regulatory submission windows.
• Draft, review and update compliance policies and procedures, and monitor MAS and ASIC circulars and regulatory developments.
• Administer and coordinate the firm's compliance technology platform, tracking MAS and ASIC appointed representative obligations, attestations and requests.
• Assist with audits, regulatory and licensing matters, including regulatory returns, filings and responses to regulatory queries and client due diligence questions.
• Review marketing materials against regulatory requirements and conduct AML/KYC processes on investors and counterparties.
• Support compliance monitoring and testing, compliance onboarding and training, and compliance with books and records obligations.
• Take part in regional and global compliance initiatives and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, business or finance.
• At least 3 years' relevant experience in investment management; real estate experience preferred but not required.
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with new technology tools, including AI-based tools and AI-assisted workflows.

The position is based in Singapore. It does not provide visa sponsorship, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
