Compliance Intern – Singapore (6 months)

About the role

ING's Wholesale Bank Asia internship programme (2027) is looking for a student to join its Compliance team in Singapore. The internship lasts 6 months, from January to June, and gives hands-on experience within the bank's compliance function.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in updating and maintaining local and regional compliance frameworks, policies and procedures, including Individual Accountability and Conduct and Related Parties Transactions.
• Assist in rolling out Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) for compliance policies.
• Assist in rolling out mandatory compliance training.
• Support the Singapore Compliance team on ad hoc projects arising from ordinary business.

Required profile

• Keen attention to detail and keen learner.
• Ability to multi-task, organized, and good interpersonal skills.
• Positive "can do" attitude, enjoys challenges and is willing to take on new tasks.
• Team player.

Required skills

• Experience in web programming languages is looked upon favourably.
