Compliance Officer – REIT Manager

About the role

Fuku, a leading real estate investment trust specialising in data centre properties, is hiring a Compliance Officer in Singapore. The role develops and runs the compliance monitoring and testing programme, monitors regulatory requirements for the REIT Manager holding a Capital Markets Services licence with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, supports oversight of outsourcing and business continuity, and strengthens the second line of defence through independent compliance assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run the annual compliance monitoring and testing plan, perform control walkthroughs and sample testing, document findings and track remediation
• Run the AML/CFT compliance testing programme, including customer due diligence, sanctions and PEP screening, suspicious transaction reporting and record keeping
• Maintain the regulatory obligation register, breach and incident log, and support regulatory submissions
• Help develop, review and maintain internal policies and procedures, and coordinate their approval
• Maintain the outsourcing register, review service providers and support due diligence for new arrangements
• Support oversight of business continuity management compliance and testing
• Support the enterprise risk register, audit reviews and responses to regulatory inspections

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in regulatory compliance, compliance monitoring and testing, AML/CFT compliance (preferred), or internal control and regulatory advisory roles (preferred)
• Experience in financial institutions regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore preferred; fund management, asset management or REIT manager experience advantageous
• Preferred certifications: CAMS, ICA or other compliance/regulatory certifications

Required skills

• Understanding of regulatory requirements for capital markets licence holders
• Experience conducting compliance monitoring, control testing and AML/CFT reviews
• Familiarity with outsourcing governance and regulatory reporting
• Analytical, documentation and reporting skills
