Construction Manager – Data Centre PMC (West Area)

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead all on‑site construction activities for a new data centre in Singapore. The role focuses on site logistics, trade coordination, safety enforcement, and maintaining the critical path within tight industrial zones.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily site operations in industrial zones such as Tuas and Jurong, managing traffic flow, crane positioning, and storage of structural steel and precast panels.
• Supervise structural sequencing, including deep foundations, earth retaining stabilising structures (ERSS), mass concrete pours for transformer yards, and installation of precast concrete components.
• Lead coordination meetings between civil works and MEP teams, ensuring clear routes for utilities, heavy cable trays and large piping networks.
• Enforce Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards in line with Singapore’s MOM regulations, overseeing high‑risk tasks such as heavy lifting, work at heights and confined‑space entry.
• Conduct regular QA/QC inspections, mock‑up reviews and manage non‑conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate site authority inspections with Registered Inspectors (RIs) and Qualified Persons (QPs) to verify compliance before progressing to the next stage.

Required profile

• 8+ years of site construction management experience.
• At least 3 years managing data‑centre or high‑tech facility new builds in Singapore.
• Proven ability to maintain critical path schedules within constrained industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore MOM safety regulations and local inspection requirements.
