Consultant / Senior Consultant (Clinical Haematology)

About the role

The National University Cancer Institute Singapore (NCIS) is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic consultant to join its clinical haematology service. Haematologists at NCIS provide the full spectrum of benign and malignant clinical care. Candidates with broad interest and experience in benign, malignant, laboratory haematology and transfusion will be favourably considered.

As Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will carry out duties as directed by the Chairman, Medical Board and Head of Department, in line with the policies and guidelines of the National University Health System (NUHS) and the Ministry of Health, Singapore. You may occasionally be deployed to other institutions within NUHS.

Required profile

• Active in clinical practice
• Basic medical and postgraduate qualifications from an accredited university or school registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
• Completed Advanced Specialty Training or equivalent (CCST) with FRCPath or FRCPA, with two years of consultant-level experience
• Registered with the Singapore Medical Council and accredited by the Specialist Accreditation Board, Ministry of Health
• Able to work independently and manage patients in a multi-disciplinary environment
• Confident, proactive and a good team player
