Senior/Manager, Physical Activity (1 Year Contract)

About the role

The Health Promotion Board's Physical Activity Department, within the Physical Activity and Healthy Ageing Division, aims to make active living a cornerstone of daily life by giving residents the knowledge, opportunities and support to build sustainable habits. It partners with government agencies, industry leaders and stakeholders to expand access to inclusive, high-quality physical activity. This is a 1-year contract position.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a fitness endorsement framework that sets standards for quality and good practice across the industry
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with gyms, studios and industry bodies, co-creating adoption strategies and marketing efforts
• Develop detailed implementation plans with clear milestones, roles and responsibilities to guide a structured rollout
• Establish monitoring mechanisms and success indicators to track progress and drive continuous improvement

Required profile

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, comfortable in a highly matrixed, dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Experience in the fitness industry, such as fitness trainer, programme manager, curricular developer, gym and studio manager or fitness project manager
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and able to solve problems independently
