Consulting Director - Cyber Defense

About the role

PwC is seeking a senior cybersecurity leader to head its Cyber Defense consulting practice across Southeast Asia. The role combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen to help clients tackle complex security challenges while expanding the firm’s cyber services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Cyber Defense consulting practice, delivering innovative solutions to protect clients from evolving threats.
• Maintain and expand strategic alliances with technology partners such as Microsoft, Google, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Drive revenue growth, particularly for Managed Security Services, through go‑to‑market strategies and sales enablement.
• Collaborate with other practice areas to identify new business opportunities and support deal closure.
• Lead large‑scale cyber transformation programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Engage senior stakeholders, including C‑suite executives, to build trusted advisory relationships.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performance team of cybersecurity professionals.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with extensive exposure to cyber defense, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Proven track record of managing alliances with major technology vendors.
• Strong leadership experience in building practice revenue and managing teams.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for large enterprises.
