Country Manager – Sales (Singapore)

About the role

Macrobond is seeking an experienced individual contributor to lead its Asia sales efforts, focusing on new business development and expanding existing client relationships across Singapore and the broader ASEAN region. The role reports to regional leadership and will drive growth of the company’s economic and financial data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients by analysing market trends and uncovering industry opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with Macrobond’s global strategy, leveraging market intelligence to target specific sectors and themes.
• Deliver tailored solutions using Macrobond’s data products, including API integrations and automated workflows, and support the sales process through demos, proof‑of‑concepts, and deal closure.

Required profile

• 12+ years of hands‑on strategic B2B sales experience within data licensing and investment workflow solutions.
• Deep understanding of selling data‑driven workflow solutions to economists, analysts, and strategists in banks and asset owners.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and growing market share.
• Established network of relevant clients across the ASEAN region to enable effective prospecting.
