CQ Lead – Warehouse & Packaging (Pharma/Life Sciences)

About the role

The CQ Lead will oversee commissioning and qualification activities for warehouse and packaging systems within a global pharmaceutical environment. You will develop C&Q strategies, coordinate with EPCM teams, vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute C&Q plans and schedules for assigned areas and systems.
• Lead commissioning activities, including start‑up planning, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate C&Q efforts across engineering, operations, HSE, automation, electrical, instrumentation and other disciplines.
• Prepare, review and approve CQV test scripts and ensure accurate documentation.
• Track discrepancies, manage remediation, and support change‑control assessments.
• Facilitate C&Q coordination meetings and report status to project stakeholders.
• Support regulatory and inspection readiness, ensuring all milestones meet the baseline schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Process or related).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical projects.
• Strong background in field C&Q execution for packaging and/or warehouse systems.
• Proven experience working with EPCM contractors, equipment vendors and third‑party contractors.
• Excellent project coordination, leadership and communication skills.
