Critical Facilities Manager

About the role

The Critical Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of Princeton Digital Group’s data centre facilities in Singapore. The role ensures that all critical systems remain healthy, performant and compliant with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations to maintain optimal health of all critical systems.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities to minimise impact on service continuity.
• Create and maintain Method of Procedures (MOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, IEEE and manufacturer specifications.
• Lead incident response, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive resolution.
• Maintain documentation for audits, certifications and regulatory inspections.
• Support senior operations manager in incident management and closure reporting.
• Manage third‑party service providers, monitoring quality, safety and SLA adherence.
• Optimize energy consumption and support sustainability initiatives.
• Handle change requests, assess impact, manage approvals and verify outcomes.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience in data‑center, mission‑critical or telecommunications environments.
• Strong understanding of Uptime Institute Tier II–IV standards.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting and incident‑management capabilities.
