Cruise Travel Consultant – Retail Booking Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Cruise Specialist to join our Cruise Arena team and deliver a seamless travel booking experience for retail customers in Singapore. You will promote a range of cruise lines and manage end‑to‑end arrangements, ensuring each client enjoys a memorable cruise journey.

Key responsibilities

• Convert enquiries into bookings by matching customer preferences with suitable cruise products.
• Handle complete cruise itineraries, including shore excursions, pre‑ and post‑sailing hotel stays, and transfers.
• Provide expert travel advice and recommendations throughout the sales process.
• Manage after‑sales enquiries, such as booking modifications and cancellations.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of cruise lines, ships, sailings, and promotional offers.
• Collaborate with cruise line partners to design innovative cruise packages.
• Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing for all services.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience selling cruises or retail travel.
• Diploma in tourism, hospitality, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin for customer communication.
• Meticulous, able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and a positive team player.

Required skills

• Experience with cruise booking systems such as Polar Online and Espresso.
• Ability to book hotels, car transfers, and rail travel via GDS or Expedia TAAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
