Curriculum Designer (Early Childhood / AI Literacy)

About the role

GLOBAL INNOVATION EDUCATION GROUP LLP is creating Singapore's first storybook‑based AI literacy curriculum for young learners. As a Curriculum Designer you will lead the pedagogical design, turning engaging storybooks into a structured, age‑appropriate programme for both government‑linked preschools and private enrichment centres.

Key responsibilities

• Design curriculum content aligned with the Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) framework.
• Translate storybook narratives into clear learning objectives, lesson flows, and facilitation guides for K1/K2 teachers.
• Create hands‑on activities (discussion prompts, crafts, group tasks) that bring each lesson to life.
• Develop lightweight assessment and progress‑tracking tools suitable for early childhood settings.
• Collaborate with writers, illustrators, and subject‑matter reviewers to ensure classroom‑ready material.
• Adapt core curriculum for different delivery contexts (government‑linked preschools vs private centres).
• Provide input on teacher training and onboarding materials.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (NIEC or ECDA‑recognised preferred).
• Experience designing or adapting curriculum against the NEL framework.
• Prior classroom or centre‑based teaching experience in a Singapore preschool.
• Strong written communication skills for translating complex ideas into simple, age‑appropriate language.
• Preferred background in instructional design or learning science.
• Experience designing content for both institutional/government and private commercial settings.
• Familiarity with digital or STEM literacy curriculum design (no technical AI expertise required).
• Prior experience with MOE Kindergarten, PCF, or NTUC My First Skool teams is a strong plus.
