Curriculum Specialist (Science) – Primary & Secondary Chemistry

About the role

The Curriculum Specialist (Science) will join TLL’s Secondary Science team to design, develop and write high‑quality chemistry curriculum for primary and secondary levels. Reporting to the curriculum segment head, the specialist leads the creation of lesson materials, teacher guides and assessment resources for two grade levels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce lesson materials that meet TLL’s quality‑assurance framework and Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements.
• Plan Schemes of Work in collaboration with segment heads and senior team members to align with annual teaching timetables.
• Research, write, edit and prepare print or online delivery of hands‑on learning activities and supporting teacher notes.
• Support teachers through clear reference materials, best‑practice documentation and participation in teacher meetings.
• Ensure curriculum quality by adhering to house styles, conducting content edits and incorporating feedback from educators.
• Carry out administrative and project‑management duties related to curriculum development.

Required profile

• A good university degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of curriculum design and educational standards.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and meet tight production timelines.
