Customer Experience Officer (1-Year Contract)

About the role

Singapore Pools, a not-for-profit organisation established in 1968 to provide safe and trusted betting, is hiring a Customer Experience Officer on a 1-year contract. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the officer acts as a one-stop touch point for customers at retail branches, providing excellent customer service and helping customers adopt Singapore Pools' digital services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers at retail sales points with Singapore Pools' offerings and provide excellent customer experience.
• Engage customers as part of campaign support to raise awareness, for example educational campaigns (how to play horse wagering) and outlet closure campaigns (alternative outlets).
• Support divisional or corporate initiatives such as anti-scam awareness and supporting the eKYC maker role during peak periods.

Required profile

• Minimally O Level/A Level/Diploma certification, with professional experience in hospitality, sales or customer service.
• Able to work shift hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of English and Chinese to serve English- and Chinese-speaking customers.
• Independent and team player with a customer-oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with empathy or influence.
• Digital savviness with confident knowledge of digital applications.
