Customer Service Representative – Scent

About the role

Join IFF’s Scent division in Singapore as a Customer Service Representative, supporting the end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash process for a global leader in flavors and fragrances. You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Support the full Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) cycle, from order entry to delivery tracking.
• Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries.
• Perform initial issue checks and escalate complex cases to relevant support teams.
• Manage the service mailbox, prioritising and replying to requests efficiently.
• Process orders, verify product availability, and monitor shipments.
• Handle returns, exchanges, and basic complaints related to orders.
• Prepare credit and debit notes as required.
• Follow standard procedures and compliance requirements such as SOX.
• Participate in daily team meetings, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum diploma in any discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or supply‑chain within a B2B environment.
• Basic knowledge of domestic and international trade practices.
• Strong business‑level English communication skills.
• Team‑oriented with cross‑cultural awareness.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Basic understanding of trade documentation and compliance.
