Cyber Security Consultant (SIEM, SOAR, Day 1)

About the role

NCS is looking for a Cyber Security Consultant in Singapore to design, implement, test, document and hand over security solutions based on Security by Design principles. The role covers deploying and managing SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, TIPs, DAM and cloud security on AWS and Azure, automating security infrastructure with Terraform, running security acceptance tests and hardening systems.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate security into every stage of system design and development, and carry out risk assessments and threat modelling when required
• Deploy SIEM, SOAR, UEBA and cloud security solutions, and automate security infrastructure with Terraform so deployments stay consistent
• Run System Security Acceptance Testing (SSAT), Operational Security Acceptance Testing (OSAT), Integration Acceptance Testing (IAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and harden systems to protect them from vulnerabilities
• Create detailed documentation of security controls and processes, train the operations team and hand over with operational guides for security management
• Implement log management systems to centralise security event data and monitor cloud environments with AWS and Azure tools

Required profile

• 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or consulting
• Hands-on experience deploying SIEM and SOAR solutions
• Proven experience in security testing, threat modelling and system hardening

Required skills

• Strong AWS and Azure security expertise
• Terraform automation experience
• SIEM/SOAR platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar, ArcSight and Cortex XSOAR
