Cyber Security Development Engineer (Endpoint Protection Platform)

About the role

NCS is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cyber Security Development Engineer (Day1) to join its team in Singapore. You will design, develop and maintain Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions that defend organisations against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Design and architect EPP/EDR solutions such as CrowdStrike, Trellix, Trend Micro and VMware Carbon Black, and write technical design documentation aligned with client requirements and security best practices.
• Assess client environments and recommend endpoint security architectures, and design security policies, detection rules and response workflows.
• Install and configure EPP/EDR consoles, agents and infrastructure, deploy agents on Windows, Linux and macOS, and set up agent update mechanisms including air-gapped and relay-based updates.
• Integrate EPP/EDR with SIEM, SOAR and ticketing systems, configure threat intelligence feeds, and set up monitoring, alerting and reporting.
• Run UAT, OSAT and SSAT, perform performance impact assessments, validate malware detection and response workflows, and deliver As-Built documentation, TDDs, SOPs and knowledge transfer sessions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, deploying and configuring enterprise EPP and EDR solutions (e.g. CrowdStrike, Trellix, Trend Micro, Carbon Black).
• Strong skills integrating EPP/EDR with SIEM, SOAR and ticketing systems, and building security policies and response workflows.
• Hands-on deployment of endpoint agents on Windows, Linux and macOS, including updates and policy configuration.
• Ability to carry out security testing, acceptance validation and produce technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and knowledge transfer skills, with strong planning and attention to detail.
• Singapore citizenship required due to project sensitivity.
