Cybersecurity Engineer – Anti-Fraud & Content Security

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer specialized in anti-fraud and content security to protect Xiaomi’s international platforms. The role combines data-driven risk analysis with the design of automated and manual safeguards to ensure a safe user experience across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze risk data and fraudulent behavior across Xiaomi’s international markets; design, validate and roll out anti-fraud strategies.
• Own daily content-safety operations for international markets, crafting and tuning machine-learning and human-review rules and SOPs to guarantee zero leakage of violative content.
• Monitor the latest attack-and-defense trends, distill best-practice playbooks and apply insights to product and strategy iterations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with the ability to independently build data experiments and complete the full cycle of strategy evaluation and deployment.
• Data-driven mindset, capable of mobilising cross-functional resources to implement solutions.
• Strong risk intuition and problem-solving skills to quickly identify root causes of emerging threats.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) for daily collaboration.
