Data Analyst - Healthcare Reporting & BI

About the role

The Data Analyst develops, maintains and optimises healthcare reporting, analytics and business intelligence solutions. The role turns clinical and operational data into actionable insights that support decision-making, improve patient outcomes and strengthen organisational performance. It works closely with clinical, operational and technology stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, maintain and optimise reporting and analytics solutions supporting clinical, operational, business and organisational objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders to turn requirements into reports, dashboards, KPIs, visualisations and analytical solutions.
• Support reporting solutions, troubleshoot data or system issues, run root cause analysis and improve performance, usability and accessibility.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, consistency, security and compliance through testing, validation, reconciliation, quality assurance and adherence to governance and regulatory standards.
• Deliver user training and technical guidance, support project delivery and stakeholder coordination, and share knowledge and best practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics or healthcare informatics.
• Preferred: healthcare industry experience and knowledge of clinical, operational and healthcare data workflows, data governance, security and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Preferred: EPIC Cogito reporting tools.
• Preferred: Tableau dashboard development and data visualisation.
• Preferred: Databricks, SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Requirements gathering, testing, data validation, documentation and user support.
