Demand Management Project Manager

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductors and advanced displays, is hiring a Demand Management Project Manager in Singapore. The role supports project planning, scheduling and reporting, and keeps resources aligned with on-time and on-budget targets.

Key responsibilities

• Help prepare project plans and coordinate project activities from planning through implementation.
• Maintain a matrix for process improvements.
• Coordinate project schedules and task details, and help prepare reports, tracking charts, checklists and project schedules.
• Align the progress of internal resources to meet on-time and on-budget objectives.
• Track project costs and schedules for internal and external customers.
• Occasionally interface with external suppliers and monitor and report progress against quality and cost metrics.
• Interface with internal customers and report progress against project objectives.
• Pull data from various sources and create dashboards.

Required profile

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadened capabilities.
• Understanding of key business drivers and use of that understanding to complete own work.
• No supervisory responsibilities, but informal guidance to new team members.
• Able to solve problems in straightforward situations using technical experience and judgment.
• Able to explain complex information clearly.
