Demand & Supply Planner – 1 Year Contract

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner on a 1‑year contract to cover maternity leave. You will manage purchasing and demand planning for assigned business units, ensuring material availability aligns with sales forecasts and customer expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Review material purchase reports and generate weekly purchase orders.
• Align purchases with forecasted demand and expedite overdue positions.
• Translate supplier delivery dates into SAP and monitor order status.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service and other stakeholders to meet delivery commitments.
• Participate in demand‑planning and inventory meetings, gathering and validating data for forecasts.
• Convert finished‑goods forecasts into raw‑material requirements and drive purchasing plans.
• Support inventory, on‑time‑delivery and KPI targets.
• Provide ad‑hoc reporting as needed.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Business, Operations or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in production and materials planning, especially translating FG forecasts into RM requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities (PivotTables, Power Query, complex formulas) and solid Microsoft Word proficiency.
• Experience with SAP (or Pronto) and knowledge of SQL is a plus.
