Deputy Manager, Strategic Communications & Media Relations

About the role

The Land Transport Authority is seeking an experienced Strategic Communications manager to shape and execute communication strategies that enhance public understanding of its initiatives and policies. The role drives impactful publicity and ensures consistent messaging across all platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans supporting LTA’s long‑term objectives and key initiatives such as infrastructure projects and policy announcements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align policy intent, operational outcomes, and public communications.
• Anticipate issues, monitor public sentiment, and identify communication gaps.
• Create messaging frameworks and narratives for projects like new MRT lines, road construction, active and future mobility, and sustainability efforts.
• Ensure clear, consistent messaging across print, digital, and broadcast channels.
• Use data, research, and surveys to refine communication strategies, establish metrics, and track campaign effectiveness with KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in public communications.
• Strong writing and editing abilities.
• Experience with data analysis and stakeholder management is preferred.
• Interest or understanding of Singapore’s transport landscape is a plus.
• May be required to complete a medical declaration or further assessment.
