Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Design Engineer to create and maintain electrical and mechanical drawings for marine and offshore projects. The role involves using CAD tools to translate design specifications into accurate technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and other CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawings meet specifications.
• Write supporting documents such as material lists and cost estimates.
• Maintain a library of standard drawing templates and update drawings as new information becomes available.
• Engage with clients, classification societies and customers for design approvals.
• Participate in technical reviews and design of HPU, valve remote‑control and tank gauging systems.
• Establish and follow engineering standards, policies and marine/offshore regulations.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in electrical, mechanical or instrumentation design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Good understanding of industrial systems, instrumentation, control panels, piping and M&E services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
