Design Hardware Development Manager

About the role

Flex is seeking a Design Hardware Development Manager to lead a team of engineers in Changi, Singapore. You will drive the implementation and maintenance of enterprise‑wide technical architecture, ensuring seamless integration of next‑generation technologies into our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organize a hardware development team to support internal and external customer requirements.
• Allocate tasks for hardware development projects, focusing on power electronics for servers and data‑center applications.
• Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and resolve technical issues.
• Identify future business opportunities related to data storage and retrieval systems.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain qualified talent.

Required profile

• More than 15 years of experience in power electronics, preferably in high‑power server and data‑center environments.
• Background with BBU, energy storage, or rack power is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s or PhD is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multicultural teams.
• Self‑driven, competitive attitude and team‑player mindset.
