Desktop Engineer (End User Computing)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is hiring a Desktop Engineer (Operations Support Executive, End User Computing) in Singapore. The role covers end-user support and client platform management to keep IT operations stable and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end-user support for client platforms, including incident and service request management, and troubleshoot issues with timely temporary and permanent solutions.
• Respond to incidents, investigate root causes and give regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with agreed service levels (SLAs).
• Document, maintain and update system configurations, and provide regular operational reports.
• Support client platform implementation and upgrade projects, and coordinate with vendors on hardware replacement and issue resolution.
• Perform IT asset management, manage user accounts (creation, password resets, deletion) and handle local server administration for software distribution and patch management.
• Propose corrective action plans when service gaps are found, and establish facility management standards and best practices.

Required profile

• 1 or more years of related experience in technology administration preferred.
• Diploma in an IT-related discipline preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Desktop troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with iOS and Android devices.
• Advantageous: enterprise desktop support experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, cloning tools, macOS and antivirus/malware software.
