Desktop Support Engineer (EUSS)

About the role

NCS, a technology services firm operating across the Asia Pacific region, is hiring a Desktop Support Engineer (EUSS) based in Singapore. The role covers end-user support, incident handling, service requests and client platform administration. Applications are submitted through the NCS application process, and JobStreet Malaysia will support candidates' queries.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end-user support and client management
• Troubleshoot client platform-related problems and respond promptly to incidents, investigating and providing temporary or permanent resolutions with status updates
• Handle service requests for client platforms
• Monitor agreed service levels, document and maintain system configurations, and provide regular reporting
• Take part in client platform implementation and upgrade projects, ensuring deliverables meet service level requirements
• Follow up with vendors on hardware replacement and manage assets and asset records
• Manage user accounts (create passwords, reset and delete)
• Administer local servers to support software distribution and patch management
• Establish facility management standards and best practices, submit progress reports and propose action plans when needed

Required profile

• Preferably 2 or more years of related experience in technology administration
• Some network knowledge is an advantage
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Independence, resourcefulness and a results-oriented, can-do attitude
• Willingness to work in Singapore
