Desktop Support Technician

About the role

The Desktop Support Technician provides day‑to‑day IT assistance for RedMart, a Lazada subsidiary, ensuring that warehouse and operational teams have reliable technology to keep business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide IT support for daily warehouse and operational activities.
• Manage and maintain company IT assets such as laptops, tablets, Android devices, printers (MFP and PTB), and user peripherals.
• Handle an average of 55–65 support tickets each month, delivering timely troubleshooting and resolution.
• Respond to urgent IT incidents that affect production, minimizing downtime and preserving business continuity.
• Perform device setup, deployment, software installation, configuration, and user onboarding/off‑boarding.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve escalated technical issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate IT inventory records, device tracking, and asset documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to users to improve operational efficiency and system usage.
• Ensure all IT equipment and systems comply with company standards and operational requirements.

Required profile

• Experience handling a high volume of IT support tickets in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to respond quickly to critical incidents impacting production operations.
• Strong coordination skills for working with internal teams and external vendors.
• Attention to detail in maintaining asset inventories and documentation.
