DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Platform

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the shared developer platform that powers our software delivery pipeline. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure, networking, and automation across Azure and AWS environments, enabling development teams to deliver software efficiently and securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and networking components in Azure and AWS.
• Maintain and enhance central CI/CD tooling such as GitLab, Nexus, Nexus‑IQ, and SonarQube.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployments using Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Monitor, secure, and optimise pipelines and cloud resources for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to ensure compliance and seamless integration.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues affecting the CI/CD platform.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across teams.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS services, including compute, storage, VPCs, subnets, VPN, routing, firewalls and DNS.
• Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with enterprise‑grade platforms (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Linux administration, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and network troubleshooting skills.
