Digital & Training Comms Trainee - National Community Leadership Institute

About the role

The National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI) is offering a traineeship within its Digital & Training Comms team. The trainee supports outreach, learner engagement and organisational branding through digital marketing, social media and communications initiatives, with hands-on experience in digital content creation, publicity and social media campaign development.

Key responsibilities

• Research emerging social media trends, platforms and content opportunities to strengthen NACLI's digital presence
• Develop and curate content for social media and digital platforms, including bite-sized learning content about NACLI's work, mission, programmes and training objectives
• Work with the PA HQ Comms team on video interviews, call-to-action messaging and other social media content
• Integrate the mascot and branding into digital content
• Support publicity campaigns and promotional initiatives to raise awareness and visitorship for Our Community Gallery
• Lead or support special projects such as gallery merchandise, branded collateral and visitor engagement initiatives
• Help develop course publicity materials, EDMs, posters and learning aids
• Support photography and videography to build the digital media repository

Required profile

• Degree in Digital Communications, Communications & Media, Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or a related field
• Strong interest in digital communications, social media and content creation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive and resourceful, with attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Teamwork skills and collaboration with others
