About the role

HYVE Solutions is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Director of Manufacturing Engineering to lead engineering excellence and facility operations at its growing Singapore manufacturing site. This senior leader will shape engineering strategy, boost manufacturing efficiency, and ensure world‑class, scalable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive Manufacturing Engineering & Facilities strategy aligned with business growth.
• Lead engineering teams to optimise process efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Oversee site infrastructure, facilities operations, and capital projects.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation across manufacturing processes.
• Establish and monitor engineering KPIs and performance metrics.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support new‑product introduction and operational excellence.
• Identify risks, resolve complex issues, and implement scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, regulatory, and company standards.
• Lead crisis management and act as a key site leader when required.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing engineering or facilities management.
• Strong background in process optimisation, automation, and large‑scale operations.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Track record managing large capital projects (e.g., > $20 M).
• Deep understanding of engineering standards, compliance, and operational risks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
